Its spun polyester fabric is made for weather extremes, so it won't fray in gusty winds or fade in searing sunshine. It comes with sewn stripes and an appliqued star and is reinforced with brass grommets. As these flags are made from heavier fabric they require a higher wind speed to "fly" than nylon flags. The polyester resembles a coarse cotton. They are designed for outdoor use and will resist fading and fraying. This size is suitable for 40ft flag poles.
