The Super Tough Telescoping Flagpole is made for the flag connoisseur who wants a high-quality product at a reasonable price. You get your option of either a 17 or 21ft pole and it is made from a rust-free aluminum with an anodized, polished aluminum finish. This telescoping flagpole features a dual-locking system to prevent the pole from collapsing on its own. Along with this, there are no ropes to get tangled with its 360 degree no wrap swivel system and you can even fly two flags at once! This flagpole collapses down to just under 7ft to make changing the flag easy breezy. This can help and be beneficial when severe weather is on its way. You also get to choose your very own brand new 3ft by 5ft American flag, available in either nylon or polyester. From the aluminum ground sleeve for installation to the gold finial ball top, this flagpole comes with everything you need to get your flag up in the air. The Super Tough Telescoping Flagpole comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty and is proudly made right here in the U.S.A.

The 21’ pole adjusts to height increments of 9’6” up to 21’ and has 4 sections, with outside diameters of 1.75”, 2”, 2.25” and 2.5” being the butt diameter. The 17’ pole adjusts to any height between 7’2” and 17’ and has 3 sections, with outside diameters of 1.75”, 2” and 2.25” being the butt diameter. The various diameter sizes create true, tapered pole look.

How does a telescoping flagpole work and how to lower it?

A telescoping flagpole uses a series of locking buttons within different sections of the flagpole. Multiple sections can "collapse down," and go inside the others allowing you to adjust the flagpole to your desired height. To lower your telescoping flagpole, simply press one of the buttons on the flagpole and lower the section down using your hands.

How much wind can a telescoping flagpole handle?

Telescoping flagpoles aren't necessarily designed to handle too much wind with most being rated for low wind areas, such as residential and some urban areas. That being said, they can still do well if they are lowered when a storm is on the way. Most of our customers will do this if they are expecting inclement weather.
