You also get an aluminum ground sleeve and nylon locking clips for easy installation. A classic gold finial ball topper adorns the top, along with a stationary truck and a halyard to raise your flag. You even get your choice of a 3ft by 5ft U.S. flag! You can get either nylon or polyester. Flagpole Installation

Please note, this flagpole does require approximately two feet of its height to be installed into the ground and thus will make the overall height of your flagpole shorter once installed. For example, 13ft would now go down to 11ft, 17ft to 15ft and finally, 21ft to 19ft.

This flagpole does not require professional installation; however, it will require the use of concrete around the ground sleeve. Instructions are included with this purchase.

What are the three types of flagpoles?

There is actually a whole slew of flagpoles available on the market today, ranging from telescoping and sectional flagpoles to smaller ones to put on your front porch and have indoors. The main categories of flagpoles will come up as commercial, residential and indoor. Commercial flagpoles are the heaviest of the bunch made to be in front of a business or school which may see more wind than their residential counterparts. Commercial flagpoles are taller, thicker, usually come in the form of sectionals and have a higher wind rating. Residential flagpoles offer both telescoping and sectional options and are a little more economic in their build and price, topping out at around 25ft tall. And finally, indoor flagpoles which are designed to be either indoors or on a front porch. These are going to be single pieces, the shortest and least expensive of the bunch, starting at 6ft and going up to 9ft.

What is difference between a sectional and telescoping flagpole?

The main difference between a sectional and telescoping flagpole is going to be their abilities to change height. Sectional flagpoles once installed are pretty much set at the height it comes at where telescoping flagpoles can more easily be adjusted to change this. Telescoping flagpoles have the advantage of being lowered when inclement weather is on the way, to where sectional flagpoles for the most part will remain stationary.

How to install sectional flagpole?

Our sectional flagpoles will generally come with easy-to-follow instructions to help you install your flagpole with ease. Most will require you to dig a hole and install a ground sleeve with cement. The flagpole can then be assembled and placed into the ground sleeve.
